The small, west-facing beach of Little Fistral is accessible only at low tide. Atop the Towan headland sits a small white ‘lookout’ building, from which there are wonderful coastal views of Newquay and beyond to be enjoyed.

Crantock Beach

Crantock beach is a large, sandy beach near Newquay with extensive dunes, rock pools and caves to explore. Part of an extensive stretch of sands between the headlands of Pentire and West Pentire, Crantock is situated at the mouth of the River Gannel.

Tolcarne Beach is located between Lusty Glaze and Great Western beaches on the north coast of Newquay. The largest of Newquays beaches, perfect for swimming and surfing with over a mile of glorious sands at low tide.

Watergate bay

Watergate Bay, is a 2-mile long stretch of golden sands, around 3 miles north of Newquay, Cornwall. The expanses of sand and being so close to Newquay make Watergate Bay a popular destination for families and keen outdoor watersports enthusiasts. Annual surfing championships get held here.
