The small, west-facing beach of Little Fistral is accessible only at low tide. Atop the Towan headland sits a small white ‘lookout’ building, from which there are wonderful coastal views of Newquay and beyond to be enjoyed.

Crantock Beach

Watergate Bay, is a 2-mile long stretch of golden sands, around 3 miles north of Newquay, Cornwall. The expanses of sand and being so close to Newquay make Watergate Bay a popular destination for families and keen outdoor watersports enthusiasts. Annual surfing championships get held here.
